Nature PortfolioのジャーナルであるHumanities & Social Sciences Communicationsが、ChatGPTが学生の成績を向上させるというメタ分析を撤回した。Jin WangとWenxiang Fanによるこの論文は51件の研究を分析し、学習と高次思考への大きなプラスの影響を報告していた。今回の撤回は、AI教育研究におけるデータの信頼性への懸念を高めている。
Humanities & Social Sciences Communications has retracted a meta-analysis that asserted ChatGPT significantly improves student learning performance, perception, and higher-order thinking. Authored by Jin Wang and Wenxiang Fan of Hangzhou Normal University, the paper analyzed 51 studies dated between November 2022 and February 2025. The retraction invalidates the claimed large or moderately positive effects of AI tools in educational settings.
