apple revealed in a regulatory filing that it has reached an agreement to hire certain employees of huxe ai and license its intellectual property rights. huxe ai, founded by developers who previously worked on ai-generated podcast features in notebooklm, announced its shutdown on may 21. apple notified the european commission of the deal on june 9. the filing does not disclose who received employment offers or apple's plans for the acquired tech. this deal may be related to apple's potential interest in adding personalized audio features to its podcasts app.
