Solos AirGo A6: 19g smart glasses without cameras
solos released the 19-gram airgo a6 smart glasses that feature a voice-activated ai assistant but no cameras, prioritizing a lightweight form factor for users needing hands-free support.
solos announced the airgo a6, a new line of smart glasses weighing just 19 grams—significantly lighter than the 36-40 gram a5 model and the 50+ gram meta glasses—achieved by slimming down the temple arms that house electronics. the device focuses on voice-first interaction, using an ai assistant to handle questions, calendar reminders, and real-time translations without any onboard cameras. solos also introduced privacy accessories for its older v2 models, including clip-on camera blockers. this move reinforces a niche for ai hardware that prioritizes privacy and lightweight ergonomics over multimodal sensor arrays.
