AI lab Odyssey released Agora-1, a world model capable of supporting four simultaneous players within a single, persistent simulation of the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye. The architecture decouples the game state from visuals, using one model to track physics and interactions while a diffusion-based model renders unique perspectives for each user. This design solves consistency issues found in previous multi-agent attempts and allows for the generation of new levels while retaining game mechanics. Odyssey also introduced Starchild-1, an interactive audio-video model, and identifies potential applications for this technology in training AI agents and coordinating multi-robot systems.
