irisgo, backed by andrew ng, launches a desktop agent that learns user workflows via demonstration and automates tasks such as invoicing and email drafting with beta apps available for macos and windows.
irisgo introduced a desktop agent designed to observe and autonomously replicate user tasks across business applications, aiming to reduce manual clerical work for knowledge workers by using a hybrid cloud and on-device architecture for privacy. backed by $2.8 million in seed funding from andrew ng's ai fund, nvidia, and google, the software features a skills library for workflows like document summarization and report building. co-founder jeffrey lai, a former apple engineer, demoed the system's ability to record and replay actions like online ordering. the company recently struck a deal to pre-install the agent on acer laptops and is currently pursuing similar partnerships with other hardware manufacturers.
