grok has published a 7-minute video, billed as episode 1 of its odyssey series, generated using its ai technology. the video was created in collaboration with wonder studios and director dev walker. this release comes three months after elon musk announced plans for a full-length, historically accurate movie version of the odyssey. the ai-generated video features a traditional take on the classic tale, with a british-accented narrator and homogeneous character skin tones. while the technology is impressive, the video lacks artistry and human interest.
