Google announced the rollout of Gemini to cars with Google built-in, replacing the legacy Google Assistant with conversational AI capable of complex queries. The system enables natural language interactions for navigation, vehicle controls, and information retrieval without rigid commands.

General Motors confirmed it will deploy Gemini to approximately 4 million vehicles from model year 2022 and newer across Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC. However, Google clarified the rollout applies broadly to compatible vehicles, not just GM, with availability starting in the US in English and expanding to other regions and languages later.
