Claude adds Docs and Slides to rival Gemini

anthropic is launching claude docs and slides in beta allowing users to create edit and share documents and presentations directly in claude chats. claude docs starts as private documents but can be shared with other editors who can work on the document simultaneously. collaborators including claude can leave comments similar to google docs. the update merges regular chats and cowork into one claude with all ai productivity tools available from any chat. this brings claude closer to google's productivity tools like gemini which is natively integrated with google docs sheets and slides.
