Anthropic unites Claude chat and Cowork in single interface

anthropic is merging its claude chat and cowork interfaces into a single window, allowing users to access chat, cowork, and artifacts within one interface. the new design automatically routes user requests without requiring tab or window switching. claude design, introduced in april for website and prototype design, is now accessible anywhere within claude. dedicated features for creating presentations and documents are also being added. these features are initially rolling out to claude pro and max plan users on the web, desktop, and mobile over the coming weeks.
