anthropic is adding a personal finance feature to its claude ai, allowing users to link their bank and card accounts for read-only access. the feature, called personal finance, is launching in beta in the us for pro, max, and ultra subscribers. users can track expenses, check upcoming payments, and ask financial questions. account linking is handled through plaid, and claude cannot manage or invest money. anthropic assures that conversations in this section won't be used for model training and users can disconnect their accounts at any time.
