Spotify added four new languages to its AI DJ feature: French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The update introduces localized personas—Maia, Ben, Alex, and Dani—and expands availability to key markets including Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, and Switzerland, bringing total coverage to over 50 markets. Spotify noted the feature now supports 'more than 75 countries' (though the English text contains a potential discrepancy regarding the exact number). The feature now supports interactive chatting, allowing users to request specific moods or genres, a capability added in May 2025.
