Spotify introduced a beta Command Line Interface (CLI) tool allowing users to generate AI-driven personal audio and import it directly into their Spotify library. Designed for developers, the tool integrates with AI agents such as OpenAI's Codex, Anthropic's Claude Code, and OpenClaw to convert text-based prompts into private podcast episodes.
The generated content remains exclusive to the user, functioning as a personalized audio feed rather than a public playlist. Users authenticate via a browser login to GitHub-hosted instructions, enabling agents to create audio sessions—like exam summaries or calendar briefings—that appear alongside standard Spotify content.
