映画芸術科学アカデミーは新しいオスカー規則を発表し、映画の法的クレジットに記載され、同意の上で人間が実際に演技したと証明できるパフォーマンスのみが対象となると明記した。脚本も人間によって執筆されなければならない。アカデミーは今後、映画のAI使用と人間による執筆に関する文書を要求できるようになった。
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences updated Oscar eligibility rules to require human authorship for screenplays and human performances for acting categories. Specifically, the Academy requires that performances be "credited in the film’s legal billing and demonstrably performed by humans with their consent." The organization retains the right to audit and request information regarding AI usage to verify compliance.
