OpenAI、ChatGPTフォンの2027年初頭量産に向け開発を加速
アナリストのMing-Chi Kuo氏によると、OpenAIは2027年初頭の量産に向けてスマートフォンの開発を加速している。デバイスは、強化されたISPとデュアルNPUアーキテクチャを備えたカスタムMediaTek Dimensity 9600を採用。2028年までに3,000万台の出荷を目指す。
Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports OpenAI is prioritizing a phone over other hardware concepts, targeting mass production in early 2027. The device will feature a customized MediaTek Dimensity 9600 SoC, an upgraded image signal processor (ISP) for visual sensing, and a dual-NPU architecture for concurrent language and vision AI tasks. Kuo projects combined shipments of 30 million units for 2027 and 2028.
