Google has integrated AI Mode and Canvas directly into Search to assist with gardening visualization and planning. Users can upload photos of their space to generate layout suggestions or utilize Canvas to produce month-by-month management schedules and crop rotation strategies. The system combines these generative features with local inventory filters and a 'Search Live' feature that uses computer vision to diagnose plant health in real-time. This update follows a reported 140% year-over-year increase in searches for 'chaos gardens'.
