Virtual care provider Doccla is deploying machine learning and clinical-grade wearables to assist NHS England in reducing a record 7.25 million patient waiting list. The Doccla system uses predictive models to identify patients at risk of deterioration, allowing clinical teams to intervene earlier and manage larger caseloads. Data shows a 61% reduction in bed days and an 89% reduction in GP appointments, with cost savings of approximately £450 per day compared to a hospital bed.
