openai integrated a job search and resume editor directly into chatgpt, aggregating listings from indeed, upwork, and appcast. results are personalized based on a user's profile, and the resume tool allows tailoring applications to specific roles before downloading. the job search is us-only initially, while resume editing is available globally in english. this update transforms chatgpt from a conversational tool into a practical utility for career management, positioning it to compete with specialized job platforms.
