DoorDash 警告餐厅关于 AI 新星 Bites

doorDash, the leading food delivery app, processed 970 million orders in its second quarter and generated $4.5 billion in revenue. however, a small ai native startup called bites, which has around 300 restaurants signed up in the bay area, has caught doorDash's attention. bites allows diners to place orders directly in chatgpt, which go directly to the restaurant, bypassing third-party platforms like doorDash. doorDash warned restaurants that they may be listed without their consent on bites, and that they may not have control over their menu or hours of operation on the platform. this could disrupt the food delivery industry, as tech companies promise that ai will change how people interact with the internet.
